Jose Mourinho dont Take Loss at heart

Jose Mourinho generally doesn’t stick to the side-lines for long after a loss.

It’s just a congratulatory word or two to the opposition manager with a hand shake and off he goes down the tunnel.

But, his post-match interaction with Antonio Conte after his team’s thrashing was about more than just conveying the congratulations.

The Portuguese was seen uttering something to the Italian for good half a minute and if some of the people, who were around that area, are to be believed, Mourinho was telling his counterpart that there was no need for him to provoke the home supporters to make more and more noise when the visiting team was down and out of the game already.

Mourinho’s point was that when the scores are zero-zero or maybe you are leading by one goal or so and the game is intense, then you look to take the home advantage by deliberately trying to get the crowd involved in the game more, but, when the game is virtually over with you having a lead of 4 goals, you should be mature in that case and should not try and insult the visiting opposition with any provoking gesture like that towards the stands. Mourinho Blasts at Paul Pogba Critics after Midfielder’s Brace

José Mourinho has hit back at critics who have been highly critical of midfielder Paul Pogba.

The world’s most expensive player came to Manchester United in the summer for £89 million. His transfer fee has straight away been the main topic of discussion, and it has only intensified in the wake of some poor performances from the Frenchman. Pogba had been highly inconsistent in his first few games at United. It coincided with the club also struggling for results. While United are still unable to get wins on a consistent basis, Pogba’s form has been going up.

The midfielder was at his best in the 4-1 win over Fenerbahce in the Europa League. He came up with two goals to answer some of his critics. Part of the reason for Pogba being the most of the goals is his more advanced position on the pitch. The Frenchman has almost been played as a second striker by Mourinho and he has formed an excellent partnership with Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Mourinho has taken the occasion of his performances against Fenerbahce to take a dig at the media who have been giving him a hard time. United have still only managed one win in the last five league matches.

MOURINHO WANTS GRIEZMANN NEXT

United manager Jose Mourinho wants French international Antoine Griezmann next in his squad at Old Trafford, reports say.

Mourinho got Zlatan Ibrahimovic on a free transfer from French giant Paris St. Germain, Eric Baily joined from Spain for £30 million, Henrikh Mhikataryan joined from Dortmund, and the world record transfer fee was broken to land Paul Pogba. The fee exceeded that of Gareth Bale signed by Real Madrid in 2013, but the Sunday Mirror claims that Mourinho is already planning to break the record to get Griezmann next.

The news report by the outlet say the former Chelsea manager has made Griezmann his top target for the next season. They claim the deal is already set in motion through third parties. He is believed to be the replacement for Three Lions skipper Wayne Rooney, following talks of his imminent retirement. Wayne Rooney recently confessed to having plans of retiring after the World Cup in 2018, if England make it. The 30-year old already acknowledged that e would love to end his career at Old Trafford, so he could get other options aside the playing role after his contributions to the club. José Mourinho has revealed that he was nervous ahead of the Premier League

Manchester United boss José Mourinho has revealed that he was nervous ahead of the Premier League opener against Bournemouth.

Even though United were facing a team just into the second season in the English top division, Mourinho says that experience does not change some things and it was not surprising that he felt nervous. After having longer dreamt about the United managerial job, Mourinho finally got the opportunity to get into the Red Devils dugout in the summer. His first competitive league encounter was against Bournemouth. Mourinho came out on top after a 3-1 win over the home team.

United’s victory was always going to be certain if they were playing at the best. The team was rich with talent like Anthony Martial, Wayne Rooney, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Juan Mata. Furthermore, the signing of Eric Bailly in central defence seemed to give them the kind of steel that they had been missing since the departure of Nemanja Vidic. The Ivory Coast international was named as the man of the match in the FA community shield against Leicester City. He once again turned in with a great performance on Sunday. Mourinho says that even Sir Alex Ferguson used to do have nervousness prior to big matches.

Jose Mourinho as the new manager is Welcome by many Players

The appointment of Jose Mourinho as the new manager of Manchester United has been a welcome move in various quarters.

After, the Portuguese has been a winner wherever he has been. There have also been times when Mourinho’s judgement has been called into doubt. Even though he has managed almost every top club in European football, he has never managed to stay at the club beyond three years. Mourinho consistently speaks about longevity of the manager, but he often ends up falling out with most of the club’s aspects before leaving within the stipulated period.

Manchester United are known to have patience with their managers, but the trend seems to have changed a lot since the retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson. Mourinho is the third manager since the departure of Ferguson in 2013. The appointment of the Portuguese has led to several names being in doubt about the futures at the club. One of the foremost name is Ryan Giggs, who has a long-standing association that stretches back to almost three decades. He functioned as the assistant manager under van Gaal, but widespread rumours suggest that he may be relieved of his duties by Mourinho. Former Manchester City star Stuart Pearce says that Giggs should hold crunch talks with Mourinho before deciding on his future at Old Trafford.

Guardiola quick to make mark at City

After Manchester City’s struggles last season under former manager Manuel Pellegrini, the appointment of Pep Guardiola has quickly renewed confidence at the Etihad, with the former Barcelona and Bayern boss wasting little time in adapting the club to his methods. The two times Champions League winning manager has enforced strict requirements for his squad, and with the Spaniard seemingly not content with his current assets, we can expect to see more activity in the transfer market before the window closes at the end of the month.

Guardiola has initially signed a three-year contract, but has set no time-frame for his departure, despite candidly admitting it won’t be his final job in football. (more…)

Mourinho will succeed at Manchester United

Sir Alex Ferguson stated that new Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho would improve Manchester United.

He believes that the club will improve massively under Jose Mourinho and that he believes that the club will start winning trophies again.

He believes that Jose Mourinho had not lost his winning touch when he was sacked by Chelsea. For Ferguson, the Portuguese manager made a mistake to return to Chelsea for a second spell. In his experience, it is always difficult to go back to a place where you have enjoyed success in the past because there will be an increase in expectations.

Sir Alex Ferguson said that you cannot deny Mourinho’s achievement with the different clubs he has managed. He has been Champions with various clubs and in different leagues and he has also won the Champions League with different clubs. He believes that he will turn Manchester United in one of the biggest clubs in Europe. (more…)

Louis van Gaal wants to save his Manchester United job

Louis van Gaal wants to save his Manchester United job by finishing fourth and winning the FA Cup

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal believes that he can keep his job if he manages to win the FA Cup and also clinch the fourth place that will be synonymous with Champions League qualification. The Dutch manager still has one year left on his contract, and he thinks that he can fulfill it if ever he finishes the season strongly.

David Moyes was sacked when Manchester United could not mathematically qualify for the Champions League, and van Gaal believes that if ever he can finish in the fourth place he will be able to honor the remaining part of his contract.

However, the number of critics and demand for change might be too much for Manchester United to ignore next season and they might consider that change might be needed for the good of the team.

It will all depend on Woodward who was the one that brought van Gaal at Manchester United, and he will be desperate for the Dutchman to succeed at Old Trafford. (more…)
