There have recently been a number of rumors that have been launched which links C.Ronaldo with his former club Manchester United. C.Ronaldo is believed to have an unhealthy relationship with the owner of Real Madrid, Florentino Perez and that the Portuguese star is interested in making his return to Old Trafford.
Louis van Gaal said that he would love to have C.Ronaldo in his team and that a transfer is actually possible but unlikely as Real Madrid just aren’t thinking about selling him.
The Dutch coach of Manchester United, Louis van Gaal said: “It’s always a discussion in the papers. I don’t think the media will buy Ronaldo. When it is possible, it is what I have always said with Falcao, players like Ronaldo give a lot extra to selection, to the team, but I don’t think Real Madrid will sell him.”
Cristiano Ronaldo has never been shy in demonstrating his emotions and love towards his former club, Manchester United as it was the first club where he managed to win major trophies including the Premier League and the Champions League pieces of silverware.
“I love Manchester. Everyone knows that I have said it many times. Manchester is in my heart. I left many good friends there, the supporters are amazing and I hope I can come back one day.” C.Ronaldo told reporters as he responded to questions concerning his future and the possibility of him making a return to the Premier League.
The Portuguese midfielder has a contract with Real Madrid that runs up until 2018 where he will be earning a salary around €17 million and the Spanish club included a buyout clause for him of €1 billion. All of those reports linking C.Ronaldo with a move away from Real Madrid are nothing but rumors and nothing official as the future of the Portuguese is tightly wrapped around the Spanish club.
